Bio:

MacKenzie Warrens is a proud Kansas Citian (Missouri side!) turned Texan. She is an alumna of the University of Dallas and is currently in the 7th year of her Ph.D. in experimental atomic physics at Rice University in Houston. She is also a candidate for consecrated virginity lived in the world in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and is very eager to marry Jesus in the next year. While she is still discerning her apostolate, she is confident that it will include inner healing ministry, teaching, and building community—undoubtedly with all of the desserts she likes to bake. Jesus is her everything. When she first heard about the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, the Lord invited her to journey with him across the country with fellow zealous disciples, bringing Jesus in the Eucharist people who might not otherwise meet him and experience his merciful love overflowing from his Sacred Heart.
